| Biography | Director/Producer Melanie Jeffrey began her film career working as a Production Assistant on Deepa Mehta's feature film, Fire (1996). While finishing her degree, Melanie also worked on corporate videos, commercials, and music videos. She graduated from York University's B.F.A. (honours, cum laude) in Film Production in 1999. Melanie is a member of L.I.F.T. and continues to work in the independent film community in Toronto. When she is not Camera Assisting, Melanie works on the script for her next short film. "Missed" is Melanie's directorial debut. |
