Being a cop certainly seems to be fashionable in Bollywood these days. After Salman Khan (Dabangg), Ajay Devgn (Singham) and John Abraham (Force) played law enforcers in recent times, it's time for Randeep Hooda to don the khaki again for his upcoming movie 'Club Lodhi Road'.

The movie, based on the officers of an anti-terrorsim squad of the UP police and their efforts to eliminate gangsters will also star Manoj Bajpai, Kay Kay Menon and Amar Upadhyay. The film is reported to depict many real life encounters, including that of dreaded gangster UP Munna Bajrangi.

Randeep Hooda had earlier played the role of a police officer in Risk and the recent underworld drama One Upon A Time In Mumbaai.

Club Lodhi Road, directed by Saurabh Kabra of EMI fame is slated to go on floors in January 2012.
