A twosome shows up at a wedding… and by a quirky case of circumstances…… folks around the event start transforming into zombies! Abhay Deol and Genelia D'Souza enact the pair that witness this act… and Deol saves the (starry) day by turning into the perfect zombie buster.

Preeti Desai, Deol's real life interest too enacts a pivotal role in Rock The Shaadi, reportedly, India's maiden zombie flick that also holds the distinction of being a love triangle.
"Abhay and Genelia play a couple in the film, but another guy tries to woo Genelia and ends up being the thorn in their lives," reveals a close source.

As per filming plan, the cast and crew are at work, full throttle at Alwar, Jaipur, and will stay put for a period of two months. Sariska Palace and Dadhikar Fort with set-ups of 'sangeet' and wedding sets have already caught the fancy of visitors on the sets.

Co-crafted by Balaji Telefilms and iRock Media Pvt Ltd., Rock The Shaadi is slated to wrap up by mid-December 2011, and will grace cinemas come May 2012.
