| Biography | Jas Dhillon also known as Jas " Tiger " Dhillon is a British professional wrestler and actor. He was born in Birmingham,United Kingdom.Like many youngsters he was passionate about professional wrestling and dreamed of becoming a pro wrestler. His dream came true one day when answering a local newspaper advertisement looking for potential professional wrestlers he applied and after a difficult selection procedure and training he was chosen.He made his professional wrestling debut in 1991 at Fazeley Town Hall in Tamworth, Staffordshire, UK in a 6 man tag match. After a hard fought battle he made the winning fall and was later named the man of the match by his trainer Pete Evans.On another wrestling show he was spotted by the biggest wrestling promoter at that time Max Crabtree (the brother of the wrestling legend Big Daddy) who saw his potential and signed him up for his promotions. Later the name "Tiger" was added to his wrestling name due to his unique wrestling style.Wrestling promoters were quick to realize that the crowd loved his down to earth nature and as a result he quickly climbed up the wrestling ranks. He appeared on wrestling shows throughout the UK with the biggest International names in professional wrestling and the crowds were never disappointed in seeing him in the wrestling ring.He was invited to India by a wrestling promotion to train pro wrestlers and again he never failed to impress. Other promoters in India were again quick to have him on their shows and he returned to India later on in the year to perform on several wrestling shows.As his wrestling fan base grew he came to the attention of casting directors who believed he was ideal for the role they were casting and the rest is history as they say! As an actor he has worked on projects ranging from the BBC to Bollywood. |
