| Biography | Despite of djing being a challenging job for girls in India Kary Arora refused to bow down and experimenting with DJ gears turned herself into self made India's 1st female DJ in 1997. She set an example of a new career option for girls in India as she is undoubtedly respected as the pioneer of Indian female DJ's in Indian Music Industry. Presently, Kary Arora is also a Music Composer/Lyrics Writer/Rapper/Singer. She made her debut in Bollywood with her song 'Satya Is Back Again' in movie Satya 2 released in 2013, directed by Ram Gopal Varma.Spectral Records (Brazil) released her 3 singles in 2013 De De Deedaar De, Sanware ki Dhun and Tinko ke Sahare. In 2003 Kary Arora featured in documentary named 360 Degree dj's based on pioneer dj's showed in British council festival and on BBC. In her residency, club Buzz has been awarded Best bar with dancing - 2007 and Best bar of the town - 2008 by Times Nightlife of India. She won Best new talent from HR music award for official remix: Ishq Mein Ruswa - 2013. Hindustan Times - HT City Delhi featured Kary Arora in top 5 Dj's. Food & Nightlife magazine ranked her #5 in top 10 Djs of India.She gained Audio Engineering Diploma from SAE- Chennai in 2005, trained in the Jaipur Gharana style of Hindustani Classical Music (Keyboards). |
